The Mumbai Crime Branch arrested this person from Vadodara city in Gujarat. Police sources said the accused was not drunk, but the crime unit is gathering information about the reason for sending this email. This is being confirmed.
‘Demand for resignation of RBI governor and finance minister’
In the mail sent on Tuesday, the accused had threatened to bomb the RBI office, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. The email demanded the resignation of RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Bomb threats were received at 11 places in Mumbai. A bomb was threatened to detonate at 1:30 p.m.
When the police carried out a search operation at all these places, nothing objectionable was found. A case was registered at MRA Marg police station in Mumbai. After this, the investigation of the case began quickly.

According to the FIR, the email reads, “11 bombs were planted at various locations in Mumbai and detonated at the new RBI headquarters building in Fort, HDFC House at Churchgate and ICICI Bank Tower in the Bandra-Kurla complex on the 1:30 pm.” But there will be explosions. The 11 bombs will explode one after another.
